Pathogens are No Match for Nimbus Fog
Innovative Fogging Disinfection
Healthcare-acquired Infections (HAIs) are a huge problem for patients and acute healthcare facilities. The impact of HAIs is detrimental to patient outcomes and increases the cost of provider care.
Focused on technology that eliminates pathogens in healthcare settings, Nevoa® invented Nimbus™, a robot that fogs Nevoa’s hospital-grade, EPA-registered disinfectant into a dense mist in an unoccupied patient room, post-discharge.
- Disinfectant active ingredient: Hypochlorous acid (HOCl)
- Up to 99.9999% effective at eliminating pathogens
- 100% surface contact
- No shadowing

Independent lab analysis showed the Nimbus Disinfection Protocol – using the Nimbus robot atomizing Nevoa Microburst Solution™, combined with a hospital-determined, modified, manual cleaning process – eliminated pathogens while improving labor efficiencies.

Whole Room Disinfection
Nevoa created the industry’s first whole-room fogging process using Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) that has been proven to kill the pathogens causing HAIs. Feline calicivirus (FCV) and Influenza A (H1N1) are used as surrogates to gauge effectiveness against viruses such as SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, SARS and MERS. Our system is highly effective against those and others.
Kills Pathogens on Contact
- C. difficile
- P. aeruginosa
- S. aureus
- S. enterica
Nothing Hides from Nimbus
Nimbus is a robot that fogs Nevoa Microburst Solution into a dense cloud, distributing the solution through the entire room with 100% surface contact – even on the undersides of equipment and the bed.
Deadly pathogens and viruses are eliminated, manual cleaning time is reduced, and the next patient can be quickly admitted to the room.
Why do we use HOCl? Because we found – and studies have proven – that HOCl disinfects more effectively at lower concentrations than bleach or hydrogen peroxide.
HOCl lyses the cell wall which prevents it from replicating and becoming resistant to elimination.
The FDA considers HOCl to be “the form of free available chlorine that has the highest bactericidal activity against a broad range of microorganisms.” (US FDA, 2015)
Nevoa was founded in 2009 to invent products that combat infection in hospitals and healthcare facilities. Disinfection is all we do.
